Royal Thai Air Force Museum and National Aviation Museum

The history of the Royal Thai Air Force is displayed at the Royal Thai Air Force Museum. Here, various aircraft from the past are exhibited, with some planes being the last of their kind in the world. Additionally, some aircraft were designed and built in Thailand, which visitors can also see.

The exhibition building is divided into sections. On the left side, there are various types of fighter aircraft and the exhibition “100 Years of Aviation by the Royal Thai Air Force Ancestors.” In addition, there are various other types of aircraft on display that are hard to find elsewhere. On the right side, you will find high-performance fighter aircraft. For those who enjoy light, sound, and special effects, there is a show called “The Jet Fighter,” which is held seven times a day, starting at 9:00 AM and continuing until the last show at 3:30 PM.

Building 2 exhibits important historical aircraft used in various missions, including the “Bri Patt” bomber, the first aircraft designed and built by Thais. The museum also has a library dedicated to the history of aviation, a display of aviation-related equipment, and military uniforms from the past and present. For those who want to study aviation in more detail, the museum has a hypobaric chamber, which simulates low-pressure environments for educational purposes, among many other exhibits.
